As a Psychologist Board Certified in Family Psychology, Dr. Maryanne Watson is one of fewer than thirty women in the United
States holding the distinguished ABPP certification. She has practiced in Plano, Texas for 25 years.
Dr. Watson has extensive experience and expertise in Marriage and Family Therapy, Trauma Recovery, Anxiety, Depression, Sports
Psychology, Grief Recovery, Hypnotherapy, and Suicide Prevention. In addition, Dr. Watson has completed original research
in hypnosis and medical problems.
She obtained a BA degree in Nursing from Florida State University and her doctorate in Psychology from Texas Woman's University
where she was a nationally recognized scholar.
Family Psychologists are mental health professionals who diagnose and treat a wide array of disorders, working with individuals,
couples, and families.
Dr. Watson is a Registered National Health Care Provider. Although she is an "Out-of-Network" provider for all insurance
plans, her office staff will assist patients in filing and obtaining insurance reimbursement when applicable.

Dr. Watson is a member of the American Psychoogical Association, the American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy,
and is a Board Certified Hypnotherapist.
